Note to Self

There is a profound narcissism in carrying the belief that freedom comes at the cost of love.
True love is true freedom.
That is because true love requires only one thing; presence.
Addiction negates presence.
If two people are addicted to their own freedom and place it above presence and therefore love, and believe these two things are mutually exclusive, then there is relationship born not of love, but of power, domination, and control. Inevitably, it will be a relationship built on reinforcing energetic codes of maintaining recursive subconscious patterns, locking the two parties into playing out personal, generational, or collective unconscious patterns.
True presence offers space for true connection. Without need, loss, or gain. Relationships begin to exist simply because they exist and interactions become clean, without hidden meaning or agenda.
In this realization and eventual embodiment, only truly deep and aligned relationships take place and there is no longer a need for hyper vigilance or preemptive self protection. Only a gentle surrender into what is.
