There's merit in being humble and knowing when not to poke the bear,

When to take a step back, and when to fall silent and listen.

Being attuned means understanding time and place.

There's merit in not identifying as a healer.

There's merit in keeping your opinions to yourself, unless you are willing to share with the group.

Don't be a coward.

Ruling by fear? Uninteresting.

Glorifying burnout? Uninteresting.

There's merit in knowing when to rest, when to stop, and when enough is enough, and in honoring that.

There is merit in not always assuming you are right.

Ask questions.

And don't build a shrine to your emotions.

There is no need to adhere strong convictions to fleeting feelings.
