it's a question of integrity

We give power to what we believe.
That statement is the only concrete, unchanging constant in consciousness.
No matter which perspective is chosen, belief in that perspective is required to generate power.
Therefore, who to believe and why?
People spout their opinions incessantly, and some shape entire generations of thought.
(Aristotle and his absurd biology beliefs, for example ... )
Who do we allow to have power over our thought worlds? Why?
Integrity:
noun
The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness
The state of being whole and undivided.
How cheap is our integrity when we allow strategic propaganda into our view of the world and become rigid in those beliefs? On the flip side, how cheap in integrity to flip-flop beliefs at any given chance?
How do we maintain integrity today?
What does collective integrity look like?
What does it look like to have personal power?
Is there a way to carry strong beliefs without judgment and with total acceptance?
Why do these things often conflict within religion?
Why is it human nature to involve violence and an "us v. them" mentality?
How can we create integrity in our systems? Global and domestic?
Anybody with sound ideas, please share. I'm curious.
